Bravo dropped Schroeder and Doute today, a week after they were revealed to have called the police on former cast member Faith Stowers, who is black, as a prank. Stowers Bravo has also dumped new cast members Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, whose past racist tweets were uncovered after the most recent season premiered in January. “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules," Bravo said in a statement. Stowers spoke about the incident last Tuesday during an Instagram Live chat, calling out Schroeder and Doute after they expressed support for Black Lives Matter. Schroeder and Doute, who apologized to Stowers, have spoken about the incident in the past. But their racist prank didn't go viral until Stowers spoke about it amid the reckoning over systematic racism brought on by the Black Lives Matter protests sparked by George Floyd's killing. In a recent podcast, Stowers also called out Lisa Vanderpump, saying she'd be more outraged by Floyd's killing if he was a dog.
