After Schroeder and fellow Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute expressed support for Black Lives Matter this week, Stowers recalled a 2018 incident in which the two women got the police to investigate her. “There was this article in the Daily Mail where there was an African-American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. I guess this woman was robbing people,” Stowers said in an Instagram Live interview with Floribama Shore star Candace Rice. “And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from, actually, Stassi during an interview.” After Stowers' interview was amplified on social media, razor brand Billie and Ritual vitamins severed ties with Stassi. Neither Schroeder nor Doute were available for comment.
