Davis is in talks to front an HBO Max series revolving around her Suicide Squad and Peacemaker supervillain Amanda Waller. Watchmen writer/producer Christal Henry has signed on to lead the potential series as writer and executive producer, with Suicide Squad and Peacemaker's Peter Safran also on board as executive producer. In James Gunn’s Suicide Squad and Peacemaker universe, Waller "is a senior civil servant and director of A.R.G.U.S. who established Suicide Squad, wanting to assemble a team of expendable metahumans who would be used to execute covert operations against dangerous threats," per Deadline. The untitled series would be the latest TV role for the Oscar- and Emmy-winning Davis, who currently stars on Showtime's The First Lady.
