Following the launch of HBO Max, HBO's first streaming app HBO Go, which launched in 2010 to let HBO subscribers watch over the internet, will be removed from primary distribution platforms on July 31 but some online access will continue for a few weeks after that. HBO Now will still be available for anybody wanting only the HBO part of HBO Max. ALSO: What about people who aren't able to access HBO Max on Roku and Amazon Fire TV?
