Production designer Keith Ian Raywood says he and his colleagues have mostly had to meet virtually over Zoom instead of in person because of pandemic restrictions at 30 Rock. “The interesting thing,” he says, “is that because we have functioned for so long as an assembly-line like machine, we seem to have managed to manipulate the new system into being fairly close to our old one.” But because the coronavirus process is so cumbersome, they've had to design fewer set pieces.
