The NBC Universal streaming service that had its soft launch for some Comcast subscribers on Wednesday (before going national on July 15) should be around for the long haul, experts say. “The streaming world is obviously a very crowded space, but NBCU’s Peacock has the advantage of being an already established brand and launching with a very strong content library that already has brand recognition, positioning them for success from the outset,” says Tal Chalozin, who studies video ad impressions. They key thing is that Peacock isn't trying to be a Netflix killer.
