The Quibi series writers decided after watching the Oscar-nominated Best Picture film that they'd do a tracking shot for a funeral episode. "Conflict always helps a Reno scene," says co-creator/star Robert Ben Garant. "Then all of us saw 1917. It was all we talked about for a couple days. So we thought, ‘Let’s do that.’”
