Reade has accused the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee of sexually assaulting her in 1993. Yet only one major TV news organization has offered to interview her: Fox News, including a call from Sean Hannity. Reade has so far turned Fox News down, but says she's planning to talk to somebody at Fox News this weekend who is "more up the middle" -- likely Chris Wallace. While CNN and MSNBC have covered her story on their websites, they haven't offered to put her on camera. After MSNBC's Chris Hayes delved into Reade's allegations last night on his show All In, he was alternately praised and derided, prompting #FireChrisHayes to trend on Twitter. “I’ve been trying to just kind of wait to get someone in the middle,” Reade tells The New York Times' Ben Smith. “I don’t want to be pigeonholed as a progressive, I don’t want to be pigeonholed as a Trump supporter.” She added: “They’re not offering to put me on TV — they’re just doing stories. No anchors, no nothing like that.” Reade says she'd most like to speak to CBS This Morning's Gayle King, whom she admires, but nobody from CBS News has contacted her.
