Why it would be a bad idea for Greg Berlanti to bring back Everwood

Berlanti said yesterday that there is "a real shot" that Everwood could return, but the beloved WB series had a perfect, fulfilling ending in 2006. So what's the point of bringing it back today? Also, an Everwood revival would likely have trouble reuniting the original cast, especially with Chris Pratt -- who couldn't attend the 15th anniversary reunion last year -- having a busy movie career and his ex-girlfriend, Emily VanCamp, starring on Fox's The Resident.
