Women’s advocacy group UltraViolet called on Matthews' firing over his post-debate grilling of Warren for confronting Michael Bloomberg over the allegation he told a pregnant employee to "kill it." "MSNBC needs to fire Chris Matthews. Today,” UltraViolet president Shaunna Thomas said in a statement. “Matthews’ refusal to believe women, and history of sexual harassment, make it clear that he is not fit to continue to cover this election. MSNBC can and must do better, and they can start by firing Chris Matthews.” This is the latest controversy for Matthews, who apologized Monday for comparing Bernie Sanders' surge to the Nazi invasion of France.
