Zachary Levi to host the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards

The Shazam! star, who recurred on Season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, will emcee this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards on June 17, succeeding Tiffany Haddish. "Y’all...I’m hosting the @MTV Movie & TV awards...this is not a drill," Levi tweeted, adding: "We gon’ do the damn thang." (Watch Levi's reaction video.) MTV says of Levi hosting: "With major roles on both the big and small screen this year, Levi is the perfect choice to host the show. Oh, and did we mention he can sing? A true quadruple threat! Not to mention, he's more than capable of stepping in and saving us from any demonic entities, interdimensional monsters, and/or deadly sins if they decide to show up to this year's telecast.
