The Drew Barrymore Show will not be hosted by Drew Barrymore... at least for a few days.
The host announced today on Instagram that she had received a Covid-19 diagnosis and would "be back soon" following her recovery. Barrymore also revealed that iconic rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and co-host Ross Matthews would take over hosting duties while she recovers and quarantines.
"In the meantime @helloross and @50cent are taking over," she wrote. "So only good news to report!!!!! Maybe some other special surprises too!"
50 Cent will reportedly fill in for Barrymore for the Monday, November 14 episode, which features Ziwe Fumudoh and Melissa Villaseñor, while Matthews will take over interviewing Lindsay and Ali Lohan and designer Mikel Welch on Tuesday, November 15.
Barrymore is set to return to the show Wednesday, November 16 for an episode with Ina Garten provided that her recovery goes smoothly.
