Ali Wong Meets Her Younger Self in Time Traveling Paper Girls Teaser

Amazon Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for Paper Girls, a new, time traveling series starring Ali Wong.

Based on the graphic novels written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Cliff Chiang, the series follows four paper girls out on a delivery route on Halloween 1988 who become caught up between warring time travelers.

Transported to the future, the girls must figure out a way to get back home to the past, a journey that brings them face-to-face with the grown-up versions of themselves. As the girls work to return home, they find themselves hunted by a militant faction of time travelers known as the Old Watch, who have outlawed time travel so they can stay in power.

In addition to Wong, Paper Girls stars Camryn Jones, Riley Lai Nele, Sofia Rosinsky, Fina Strazza, Nate Corddry, and Adina Porter.

Paper Girls premieres July 29 on Prime Video.
