American Horror Stories Season 2 Trailer Reveals Bella Thorne and Alicia Silverstone

American Horror Stories returns with all new scares in the trailer for the anthology's second season.

Released Wednesday, the American Horror Stories trailer teases the return of franchise alums Denis O'Hare, who appears as a creepy doll collector, Max Greenfield, and Gabourey Sidibe, plus newcomers Bella Thorne and Alicia Silverstone.

American Horror Stories is a spinoff of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's previous anthology series, American Horror Story. Each episode of the spinoff features a different terrifying tale and a fresh cast of characters.

True to form, the new AHS trailer is light on actual plot details, and FX only added to the intrigue with a cryptic statement.

"Since 2011, the creators of the AHS have redefined the horror genre with various installments featuring a creepy asylum, a coven of witches, a traveling freak show, a haunted hotel and the apocalypse itself," said FX. "The television series sprouted a legion of dedicated fans who anticipate what terrors the next chapter will hold."

American Horror Stories Season 2 premieres July 21 on FX on Hulu, with new episodes debuting weekly.
