Reposting a tweet about Erika Kirk has put Jayne Egerton in some serious trouble. Egerton, who is a producer on BBC Radio 4, recently reshared a post by Sasha Graham, which accused Erika of being her dead husband's "Zionist handler" in a female only group on Facebook, The Jerusalem Post reports.

Egerton is the moderator of the group, which has over 2,300 members, is named Actual Gender Critical Left. After the reshared post gained other members' attention, BBC contacted Egerton to step down as its moderator.
Graham's original post, which is at the root of the controversy, reads:
"Erica is not some ‘strong figure'. She was Charlie’s Zionist handler who only exists in his sphere to redirect her husband’s organization into a politically acceptable organization. Her history tells the story of a traitor. Hell, she married a male supremacist."
This isn't the first time Egerton has shared a controversial post in her group. Earlier this year - in July - she shared a piece titled Debunked: A Reckoning with Zionist Charges in Contemporary Left Discourse.
In past, the group also has posts talking Israel as well as "pinkwashing" accusations shared in it. One such post was about J K Rowling, which contained references to "ethnic cleansing".
While Jayne Egerton has made no comments about the controversy, the group that she was the admin of has also reportedly been switched to a private one in its wake.

The controversy around Erika Kirk being called Charlie Kirk's Zionist handler comes weeks after the late conservative's birth anniversary. On October 14, what could've been his 32nd birthday was celebrated by the White House a little differently.
In an event organized at the White House, Erika received from President Trump Medal of Freedom on behalf of her late husband. In a speech following the reception of the honor, Erika said that Charlie "probably would have run for president" one day if his life hadn't been cut short.
Trump also spoke about the late influencer, saying:
"Charlie Kirk was a martyr for truth and for freedom. From Socrates and Saint Peter, to Abraham Lincoln, to Martin Luther King, those who changed history the most … have always risked their lives for causes they were put on earth to defend."
The President also customized Charlie's posthumous honor by getting a Christian cross engraved on the back of his medal, which stands as a symbol of his appreciation of the work Kirk did for the advancement of Christianity.
