At her show in Manchester, Billie Eilish took a short break to tell the crowd that she is working with famous movie maker James Cameron. They are making something new, and it will be in 3D, but they haven't shared much else yet.
Cameron is popular for his big movies like Avatar, Titanic, and the Terminator series.
Eilish didn't give more details about what they are making or when it will come out. Yet, from what she said, it sounds like it’s going to be a mix of music and new movie tech.
She kept the details under wraps, but shared just enough to make people curious. She said that she's shooting something that had her wear the same clothes for four nights during her shows at Co-op Live.
Wearing the same outfit every time, a fact clear and planned, hints that a big film work is being made.
Cameron being there added more curiosity, but most guessing happened online. There, fans asked if the shots were for a documentary, a story film, or maybe a music video series.
In her words:
"So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here. Basically, I can't say much about it, but what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D. So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."
There are currently no details published about the new project, and it is yet unknown, whether Finneas, the brother of Billie Eilish, with whom she often works, will participate in it.
Already starring in two prominent film projects, Billie Eilish: The World s a Little Blurry, an R.J. Cutler documentary released in 2021, and Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, an opulently stylized concert film issued the same year, Eilish is identified by her unique sound and visual story struggle.
She is now on tour, playing songs from her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft. At the same time, James Cameron is getting ready to put out Avatar: Fire and Ash, set to release on December 19.
Word is this part will be longer than the last one, The Way of Water, which was over three hours long.
