More than a week after Charlie Kirk was tragically shot at the Utah Valley University campus (on September 10), a public memorial for the conservative activist has been organized in his hometown, Arizona, this Sunday.

Taking place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale on September 21, the memorial is expected to draw a large crowd of mourners, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

Financial Express reports that the Kirk's action group, Turning Point USA, is the organizer behind his memorial, where his widow, Erika Kirk, will also be speaking. However, in the latest episode of her podcast, Candace Owens has disagreed.

Claiming that Kirk's memorial is an FBI-organized event, Owens stated that she will not be attending it, adding:

"First and foremost, why are you sending an invite, anybody can go to it. You just buy a ticket to the event. And you're all working to get me to confirm that I'm going, and you're doing this as if you're trying to push my buttons and be like, 'We gotta get into her ego so she, like, shows up'."

Clarifying that she was not going to fall into schemes like that, Owens continued:

"You know, while I'm attacking the feds, maybe not going to a public event which the feds are organizing is probably a very good idea. I'm good. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna listen to 'Power' on my headphones and go see Ye. How's that for a memorial for Charlie Kirk? That feels like the right thing for me to do right now."

According to Financial Express, Charlie Kirk's service, which will begin at 11 AM local time, will be livestreamed on his Rumble account. It will also be covered by media networks like Fox and CBS affiliates.

Candace Owens claimed Bill Ackman had threatened Charlie Kirk before his death

Besides Kirk's memorial, Candace Owen has made other claims about the late influencer's death. On Monday (September 15), Candace proposed a theory that Bill Ackman was unhappy with Charlie over his views on the Israeli war and had threatened the latter over it.

The podcaster said on her show:

"Bill Ackman was very upset and threats were made. That is what I am told, and I will tell you that I am very happy for Bill Ackman to dispute this narrative."

Ackman has since denied her allegations in an X post, claiming that he "never offered Charlie or Turning Point any money in an attempt to influence Charlie's opinion on anything." He also added that while his interaction with the late MAGA influencer had been limited, Ackman was "very impressed by him and his work."
