ABC Orders Celebrity Jeopardy! Primetime Series

Celebrity Jeopardy! is coming to ABC this fall, airing on Sundays alongside Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. ABC states that "a host will be announced at a later date," but Variety reports Mayim Bialik is expected to headline the celebrity spinoff.

In an interview with Variety, ABC chief Craig Erwich declined to shed light on a potential host. “It’s really just about the details of the announcement, and we just are not ready yet, but we will be soon,” he said. “I wouldn’t read anything into it.”

The Celebrity Jeopardy! announcement comes as producers are still deciding on a permanent host for Jeopardy! following Alex Trebek's passing. Currently, Bialik and Ken Jennings switch off as hosts of the syndicated show, while Bialik handles ABC's primetime specials.

Celebrity Jeopardy will air Sundays at 8:00 PM ET on ABC this fall.
