Netflix Releases Cobra Kai Season 5 Teaser

The streamer unveiled the new promo at the Netflix Is a Joke festival Thursday night.

  • Netflix surprised fans at the Cobra Kai: Live and Bad Ass event in Los Angeles Thursday night with a first look at Season 5. The celebration was a part of the Netflix Is a Joke festival, where cast and producers gathered to discuss the hit series and offer a preview of the upcoming season.

    The new season sees Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) expand Cobra Kai following the results of the All Valley Tournament. He's on a mission to make his "No Mercy" style of karate the norm. Meanwhile, with Kreese (Martin Kove) in jail and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) trying to focus on repairing the damage he's caused, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) drives to Mexico in search of Miguel (Xolo Maridueña).

    Cobra Kai Season 5 premieres September 9 on Netflix.
