Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story may dramatize the horrors of the infamous serial killer, but upcoming Netflix series Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes brings the murderer to life with his own words.
In a trailer for the docuseries, we hear from Dahmer's legal team, prosecutors, psychologists, and family and friends of the victims. For the first time, viewers will hear audio recordings of Dahmer's conversations with his defense team, providing unprecedented insight to the mind of the murderer.
In addition to delving into Dahmer's twisted psyche, the three-part documentary will shine a light on police misconduct and the Dahmer case's "intersection of race, class, sexuality, and policing", according to Netflix. This is the third installment in Joe Berlinger's Conversations with a Killer series, which previously explored Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy.
Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes premieres on Netflix October 7.
