The BAU profilers have their hands full in the Criminal Minds spin-off as they realize they're dealing with a mysterious UnSub who has used the pandemic to build an online network of serial killers. With a dangerous threat looming, the team must take down the growing group one murderer at a time.
Friday Night Lights actor Zach Gilford will star as the season's villain Elias Voit. Brewster, Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez will reprise their characters from Criminal Minds, while Gilford and Josh Stewart are set to appear in recurring roles. Matthew Gray Gubler and Daniel Henney, stars of the original series, are not currently set to star in the reboot.
Erica Messer, showrunner of the original Criminal Minds series, once again takes the reins for Evolution. The original series ran on CBS from 2005 to 2020.
Criminal Minds: Evolution debuts November 24 on Paramount+ with a two-episode premiere.
