Nicki Minaj, who is one of the most followed celebrities on Instagram, has deleted her account from the platform. Her official handle - @nickiminaj - is no longer active on Instagram (at the time of writing this article).
The Anaconda rapper's decision to take a break from Instagram comes in the face of rumors about her losing 10 million followers after her AmFest 2025. However, that number has not been confirmed with any major media outlet. Minaj did reporteldly lost 3-4 million followers in November, but it could not possibly taken have double the leap as a result of Amfest.

Minaj was invited to attend TPUSA's annual fest in Arizona's Phoenix Convention Center over the weekend.
On the stage of AmFest, Nicki not only praised Donald Trump and vice president JD Vance, but also the late conservative, Charlie Kirk. The rapper occupied the stage with the current TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk, and called Vance an "assassin," telling the audience:
"Dear young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome, dashing president and you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president."
The "assassin" comment left an awkward silence all over the audience, since it had been only three months since Erika's late husband - Charlie Kirk - was assissinated by a shooter while conducting a Q&A at the utah Valley University. Erika reassured her by saying:
"Trust me, there's nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you're fine."
Going on to dissuade some tension from the event, Erika continued:
"And this is what's so beautiful about this moment, because if the internet wants to clip it, who cares? I love this woman. She's an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord, and words are words. But I know her heart, and it doesn't even matter. And you say what you want to say, because I know your heart."
Besides her latest presence at the AmFest, Nicki Minaj has made headlines over her heated exchange with other celebrities over social media, including SZA, Cardi B, Roc Nation, Jay-Z, Desiree Perez, and Gavin Newsom.
Besides Nicki Minaj's controversial comment at the AmFest, another individual whose speech at the annual event that was highlighted was that of JD Vance. The vice president appeared on stage following Erika Kirk herself, adding:
"Every American is invited [into MAGA]. Charlie invited all of us here for a reason because he believed that each of us, all of us, had something worth saying, and he trusted all of you to make your own judgement, and we have far more important work to do than cancelling each other."
Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, was also a speaking guest at TPUSA's annual fest. In his speech, Ramaswamy expressed his support for certain right-wingers.
