Diego Luna's Rogue One Character Returns in Andor Trailer

Disney+ has released the trailer for its new Star Wars series Andor, a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Rogue One follows a group of Rebel spies led by Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), who infiltrate the Imperial military base holding the plans for the Death Star. Andor, which will include 12 episodes, takes place five years before the events of Rogue One and details how and why Cassian Andor joined the rebellion.

In addition to Luna and Jones, Andor stars Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma.

The first two episodes of Andor premiere August 31 on Disney+. In its Star Wars Celebration presentation on Thursday, Lucasfilm announced that Part 2 will begin filming in November and lead directly into the events of Rogue One.
