Perry Mason is back on the case.
After a two-year hiatus, HBO announced on Twitter today that the reboot was currently in production. Perry Mason Season 2 is set to arrive on HBO Max in February 2023, nearly three years after the series premiere.
Matthew Rhys (The Americans) is set to return as the titular private-investigator-turned-defense-lawyer, while Sean Astin (Stranger Things), Tommy Dewey (Casual), Paul Raci, and Jen Tullock will join the cast for Season 2. Shea Whigham will also return in a recurring role.

The season will pick up three months after the events of Season 1, chronicling Perry's quest for justice as the Great Depression wreaks havoc over Los Angeles and the rest of America. Based on the book series of the same name, Perry Mason's first TV adaptation ran from 1957-1966 on CBS and starred Raymond Burr.
Perry Mason Season 1 is streaming on HBO Max.
