"Her smile is a poem..." - Anna Camp reveals she's in a relationship with a woman six years after her divorce from costar Skylar Astin

Widely known for her villainous role as Sarah Newlin in the HBO horror drama series True Blood, actress Anna Camp surprised her fans when she broke the news about dating a woman. The 42-year-old actress was previously married to Ozark actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013, and then to Skylar Astin, who was also her co-star in Pitch Perfect. Camp and Astin tied the knot in 2016, but eventually split in 2019. It was Anna who filed for divorce from the 37-year-old actor. 

The Hysteria actress, Camp, took to Instagram on May 13, 2025, and reposted a story from Jade Whipkey, her on-set stylist, suggesting that they are romantically involved. The caption of the picture in Whipkey's story, which Camp reposted, read:

"Her smile is a poem/Her eyes are roses/Her laugh is music for dancing."

Anna Camp can be seen next in Simon West's upcoming film, Bride Hard, alongside Rebel Wilson, who was also one of her co-stars in Pitch Perfect. The action-comedy film that is scheduled to be released on June 20, 2025, revolves around the character of Sam, played by Rebel Wilson, a secret agent. Besides that, Camp is all set to appear in Kevin Wilson's upcoming slasher film Scream 7, which is about to hit the theaters in February 2026. 

However, coming back to Camp's new romantic relationship with Jade Whipkey, the Pitch Perfect actress, on March 28, 2025, shared a post with a bunch of photos, including a picture of Whipkey, on Instagram, with a caption that read:

"Happiness lately happening."

Whipkey took the opportunity to comment on the post, saying:

"Big time happy."

After the news broke out about Camp dating Jade Whipkey, the netizens put on their Sherlock Holmes hat and dug out a TikTok post from February 2025, in which Anna calls Whipkey "babe". The video was posted from the account @Mr.Big.USA. In the same video from that page, the host asks Anna, "What do you expect from a guy on the first date?" to which she replies:

"Well, I don't expect anything anymore because I'm dating a woman and it's great."

As it's quite clear that Anna Camp and Jade Whipkey are dating and are romantically involved, they haven't made any official statement regarding their relationship. According to Camp and Whipkey's social media engagement, one could assume that their romance began sometime in February. 

However, as per Whipkey's LinkedIn profile, she attended Cal State Northridge, from where she earned her bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies in 2023. Whipkey, who is currently based in Los Angeles, is a professional stylist and an on-set designer. Jade has previously collaborated with actress Keke Palmer and Lena Waithe and has also worked with All Worthy People, which is a creative agency.
