Home Improvement is Returning to Hulu

Home Improvement will have a streaming home once more.

After disappearing from streaming around three years ago (and raising some questions from one Richard Karn about why it hasn't become available to binge on Disney+), the popular sitcom is returning to Hulu. All eight seasons of the Tim Allen comedy will be available to stream starting September 9. 

Home Improvement ran for 204 episodes on ABC from 1991 to 1999, raking in a handful of Emmy nominations during its tenure. Hulu is currently the streaming home of other Allen comedies like Last Man Standing and Assembly Required, so the addition of Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor to the Allen collection is likely to please fans. 

Allen previously told TVLine that he was intrigued by the idea of a Home Improvement revival. "I like the idea of doing it as a one-off, like a one-hour movie," Allen said. "I like the idea of finding out where the boys are now, and where." While Allen and his fellow castmates seem open to the idea, there's been no further talk of a revival or reboot reported yet.
