Howard Stern Selects Bradley Cooper as His VP for Potential 2024 Run

Earlier this week, Howard Stern told listeners of his Sirius XM show that he plans to run for president in 2024, and on Wednesday, he named his potential running mate: Bradley Cooper. Stern claims that he and Cooper texted about the campaign, and the actor agreed to run as his vice president.

"Early this morning I was texting back-and-forth with someone I was interested in potentially being my vice president when I run," said Stern. "This person texted me and said, 'I want to congratulate you, and you have my vote.' Very lovely conversation. And I said, 'How would you feel about being my vice president?' And you know what he said? 'Done. Done. Done.' In other words, 'I'm in.'"

Stern then added, "I'll tell you how great this vice presidential pick is. He said to me, 'I'm in, but you know, I'm another white male.' And I said, 'I appreciate you saying that, but I believe you'll be such an asset to the ticket, that I think people will understand.'"

"This guy is gonna bring in the female vote like you wouldn't believe," he continued. "My vice president: Bradley Cooper. I know, it sends chills up your spine."

When Stern initially said he would run for president in response to the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, he told listeners his campaign is contingent upon Donald Trump also running in 2024.

"If I do run for president, and I'm not f*cking around, I'm really thinking about it, because the only other thing I'm going to do is appoint five more Supreme Court justices," he said earlier this week. "As soon as I become president, you're gonna get five new Supreme Court justices that are going to overturn all this bullsh*t."

In 1994, Stern attempted to run for governor of New York, but exited the race because he didn't want to reveal his personal finances.
