"I need her to grab her bag so bad": Married at First Sight UK fans urge Nelly to end things with Steven

Married at First Sight UK season 10 aired a new episode on October 19, 2025, which saw the “Love/Hate” week get underway.

As part of the theme of the week, Nelly and Steven shared points they liked and disliked about each other, hoping to improve the quality of their relationship.

In recent episodes, the couple had been going through a rough patch, struggling to develop their connection and recognize each other’s feelings for one another. 

Come Love/Hate Week, they hoped to turn things around and make some progress. 

In the latest episode, viewers saw Steven take Nelly on a date and tell her everything he liked about her. 

He started by appreciating her caring nature and thanking her for putting his thoughts and feelings ahead of her own.

That said, he admitted that he needed to work on his efforts and match hers.

As for Nelly, she complimented his indifferent attitude and how he did not care about other people’s opinions of him.

She also appreciated how funny he was, noting that he made her “laugh constantly.”

While the couple seemed to settle things, Married at First Sight UK fans were still unconvinced.

Recalling how Steven had called Nelly a “f**king idiot” and criticized her for not considering his feelings, netizens flocked to X to urge Nelly to break up with him. 

“Stephen looks at Nelly like he hates her but is stuck with her, I need her to grab her bag so bad,” a netizen commented.

Married at First Sight UK fans were convinced Nelly was delusional as she struggled to see how Steven truly felt about her. 

“Sorry but at this point Nelly is delusional her family need to talk sense into her, smh Steven ain’t even wearing a mask anymore wake TF up,” a fan wrote. 

“Steven keeps on telling this woman he hates her with every single response & she’s sat there being delusional, Nelly please I can’t feel sorry for you anymore,” another one commented.

Other Married at First Sight UK viewers hoped Nelly would see things for what they were and end things with Steven soon. 

“Nelly, girl you deserve so much better. This man has said to your face that he doesn’t like you as much as you like him, it should be over now. He’s not the man for you!” a person wrote.

““You make me laugh constantly” WTF since when Nelly? Girl I know you don't have any self worth & you've been constantly begging to be praised by Steven who looks like he's going to break your rib at any moment, laughter is last thing we've seen between you two loosers,” another one commented.

“I’ll translate what Steven loves about Nelly…. “I Love that I can mug you off and you consider my feelings before your own” Zero about who she is Nelly run,” a fan posted.

Married at First Sight UK star Steven admits he does not have the same feelings for Nelly as she does for him

Earlier in the episode, Nelly and Steven sat down to share things they disliked about one another.

Nelly started things by pointing out that she hated how Steven did not like her as much as she liked him. 

“There is obviously truth in it. You do like me more than what I like you,” Steven replied.

However, he explained that it was not that he did not like her at all. While the feelings existed, they were not as strong as Nelly’s. 

When Nelly mentioned that she expected him to be more complimentary, he pointed out that he was not brought up to be that way. 

As for Steven, he hated that Nelly had to ask for affection, as he wanted things to be natural between the two of them. 

When Nelly clarified that she behaved that way because of her past experiences, Steven admitted that he needed to understand where she came from. 

Nelly then stated that he was romantic enough, to which he replied:

“Probably used to be romantic … Just a bad dating issue, I suppose. Every time you do something romantic, something bad happens.”

However, Nelly assured him that that would not be the case with her. 

Having talked through those points, Nelly and Steven looked forward to consolidating their relationship.
