Jeff Garlin has found his next gig.
The former star of The Goldbergs will join the cast of Netflix original Never Have I Ever for its fourth and final season, starring as "Len, a sweet man who fixes a mean sandwich and who makes Nirmala (Ranjita Chakravarty) reconsider if she really is done with relationships forever."
Garlin exited The Goldbergs after nine seasons following an HR investigation into his on-set behavior. The comedian admitted to "silliness" on set in an interview with Vanity Fair's Maureen Ryan last year, though Ryan labeled the behavior a pattern of "verbal and physical conduct on set that made people uncomfortable". His character was killed off in The Goldbergs' tenth season.
A coming-of-age comedy from Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Never Have I Ever tells the story of Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), a first-generation Indian American teenager navigating the ups and downs of high school.
Never Have I Ever Seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix. Season 4 is expected to premiere in 2023.
