The Naturejab founder and innovator, the 21-year-old Julian Brown, has been inactive on social media for weeks.
The Atlanta native, who claims to have invented a machine that turns plastic waste into gasoline, shared an Instagram Reel in July warning of danger to his life. Since his last post, Brown has reportedly kept a low profile. His online inactivity has also sparked concerns among his followers on Reddit, with many fearing his disappearance.
Fortunately, Julian is safe and not missing. MailOnline confirmed this on Monday, July 28. The outlet spoke with the inventor’s mother, Nia Brown. She said:
“I can confirm Julian is safe but in the best interest of his security I'm not able to provide any more information.”
Nia reportedly refrained from answering any further questions about Julian Brown. The 21-year-old shared his concerns in a June 15 Instagram post, claiming that a helicopter was circling him. He wrote in the caption:
“A SECRET Helicopter found circled me in the middle of NOWHERE… and it gets even scarier - Pray for me please”
For those unaware, the Atlanta-based inventor has claimed to use self-taught microwave pyrolysis to create fuel from plastic. He has worked on four home-built reactor models that use the same process to produce gasoline. The Naturejab website mentions the “Microwave Pyrolysis Reactor Mark V,” the fifth iteration of the machine that Julian Brown has been building.
The Atlanta-based innovator posted an Instagram Reel on July 9, in which he was traveling in a car. Brown addressed his followers, speaking about the danger he was facing. Julian stated that he couldn’t go into much detail and added:
“There is some very, very odd stuff going on. I’m certainly under attack right now from… in many different ways and I just want everybody to know… to just kind of have your eyes open and I have my eyes open, but there is a lot going on.”
Julian Brown assured his followers:
“I’m still working, I’m still building. Nothing’s gonna stop that, but I’m just telling you guys, right now be on the lookout, ‘cause I’m under attack.”
He also urged followers in the caption, writing:
“Something is happening, keep me in your prayers please. SCREEN RECORD THIS. I don’t know.”
While Brown has been inactive, his GoFundMe page has received significant attention and has raised over $30,000, surpassing its $16K goal. The fundraiser aims to support the inventor with expenses related to the machines he has built or is developing. Apart from the alleged danger, Julian Brown also sustained an injury in May 2024.
During a conversation with CanvasRebel, Julian revealed that he suffered second-degree burns on his ankles and feet after being caught in an explosion caused by his fuel reactor.
