Laura Loomer has been focused on speaking about radical Islam in recent weeks; at least Candace Owens certainly believes so.
In a tweet uploaded on the morning of Saturday, December 27, the podcaster claimed that the base didn't care about "radical Islam" but Israel, which, according to her, was a more imminent threat to the country. Owens also condemned the US political leaders who didn't acknowledge "the Zionist elephant in the room".
In a follow-up tweet, Candace wrote about the rumors of an impending arrival of the ISIS, calling it a wasteful digital campaign. While she didn't mention Loomer directly, she did call out "online influences" who put up a pretense of concern about radical Islam's threat.
You don’t speak for the base. You were a leftist who pretended to be a conservative with jewish money paying for your rise to notoriety.

What would you know about the MAGA base? @RealCandaceO
I don’t think you even voted for Trump in 2024… https://t.co/DJdvnpANkR
Candace's casual accusation didn't sit well with Laura Loomer, who had no trouble retweeting the podcaster's tweet. In the caption, she called Owens out as a "leftist who pretended to be a conservative with Jewish money paying" for her rise to "notoriety". To drive it home, she even questioned if Owens had voted for President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential elections.
Candace Owens' theories surrounding fellow influencer, Charlie Kirk's assassination - that took place on September 10 - have been the talk of the town for months.
As an extension of her disbelief about Kirk's assassination mystery being resolved, Owens has also constantly questioned Erika Kirk's reluctance to raise questions about her late husband's murder.
It appears as if we might just figure out what fuels Owens' skepticism towards Erika Kirk. According to what some insider sources told the New York Times, it is jealousy that drives Candace against Erika.
Owens was, after all, an employee at Kirk's company, TPUSA, at one point in time - serving as a communications director for two years, 2017-2019. While she and Charlie were working closely in the beginning, the CEO started pushing her out "because she was going a little bit nuts," one source has quoted.
However, not wanting to sever all ties, Charlie still maintained a cordial friendship with her and would text her every once in a while.
One source even said that Owens was "jealous" about Erika, and felt "usurped" when she learned of Charlie dating her in 2018. They added:
"She wasn't invited to Charlie's wedding [in 2021]. That was really telling."
Some TikTokers have also claimed that it was in the wake of Charlie Kirk's engagement news that Owens rushed into her own marriage, deciding to marry her current husband after only 18 days of meeting him.
However, none of these claims have been verified by a credible source, and remain rumors at this point.
