On Tuesday, September 16, the initial hearing of Charlie Kirk's suspected killer, Tyler Robinson, was held in a Utah County court. Robinson joined the hearing virtually via video conference from the Utah County Jail, where he is being held since his arrest last week (on September 11).
In the court hearing, prosecutors showed the judge documents containing the messages exchanged between Robinson and his roommate - who is also rumored to be his romantic partner.
The most plausible and sensible theory isn’t that the FBI made up text messages and released them but that the killer and his boyfriend constructed this highly scripted text conversation as an alibi for the boyfriend. I don’t know that to be the case, obviously. But it’s a highly… https://t.co/FOlJlo2ZV9

In the exchange, Tyler appeared to be confessing to having shot Charlie Kirk at the Utah Valley University. A copy of the exchange has since been making rounds on the social media, with many netizens claiming that they've been fabricated by the FBI.
However, podcaster Matt Walsh has a different take on it. In a tweet sharing the exchange, Walsh speculated that the "highly scripted text conversation" between Tyler Robinson and his roommate seems to be constructed by the suspect, probably done in an effort to secure an alibi for him.
If Walsh's speculations are true, they would indicate that Robinson's alleged boyfriend is also involved in Kirk's shooting to some capacity. However, there has been no official confirmation of any such claim at this moment. The roommate's real name is also being kept private as of now.
Prosecutors have just released the "official" text message exchange between Tyler James Robinson and his roommate.

While the online speculations about the text exchange between Tyler Robinson and his roommate and/or boyfriend puts forward many theories, one truth that emerges from it is that Charlie Kirk's murder was a pre-planned one.
At one point in their exchange, when his roommate asks Tyler how long he had been planning to shoot Kirk, the suspect wrote in response:
"a bit over a week I believe."
After that point, most of the messages sent are from Tyler, who expresses concern over his father inquiring about the rifle that went missing from their home. It is also revealed in the messages that the rifle Robison used for shooting Kirk belonged to his grandfather.
Towards the end, the 22-year-old also tells his roommate that he was going to turn himself in willingly, adding that he was worried about him.
In his final text, Tyler asked him not to talk to the media, take interviews, or make comments. He also instructed him to get a lawyer and stay silent if he was questioned by the police.
Charlie Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika Frantzve Kirk, and their two children.
