MrBeast says he'll continue helping people despite being called 'evil'

    MrBeast, 27, is considered one of the biggest YouTube creators of this generation. From splendid content to high-profile collaborations to charitable endeavors, he often makes headlines for his social media content.

    While the world appreciates him for helping the ones in need and standing beside unfortunate ones with his kind gestures and massive wealth, some even criticize him by naming him "evil," according to a report by Dexerto.

    Despite the backlash and comments, he is adamant and motivated to continue supporting others and contributing to a better world.

    MrBeast is not stopping his charities amid the negative remarks

    MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson has caught worldwide attention for his donations multiple times. His philanthropic activities include building water wells, sponsoring cataract surgeries for 1,000 people, donating $200,000 to GiveDirectly in Uganda, adopting an orphanage and helping many with shoes, among others. With the Beast Philanthropy YouTube channel, he is committed to donating his entire earnings.

    Although his donations have changed many lives and made people happy and satisfied, the YouTube star has often received flak for curating content on his humanitarian efforts. According to many trolls, he should stop earning his share of the profit from his Beast Philanthropy channel with over 28.1 million subscribers.

    No matter how critics react to his content and his system, Jimmy shows not the slightest interest in taking a step back. Instead, the legendary creator is eager to expand more and continue serving the underprivileged and giving back to the community.

    On July 6, 2025, MrBeast responded to the disapprovals with a long post on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.

    Listing how he and his team have provided aid to those in need, he penned in his post,

    "It's kind of crazy the amount of good we’ve been able to do thru a YouTube channel.

    Noting how he has been committed to pledging millions and extending support, the social media influencer dropped the list, adding,

    "23,000,000 Trees planted, 33,000,000 Pounds of trash from ocean, 10,000,000+ Meals to people in need, 500,000 People getting water from our wells we built, $3,000,000 To war refugees for supplies, $1,000,000+ Clothes to people in need, 20,000 Shoes to kids in Africa, 3,000 People helped walk again, 1,000 Deaf people helped hear, 1,000 Blind people helped see, 100+ Houses for homeless people, 100+ Cars given away, 100s Of Dogs rescued, 3 Islands given away, 1 Orphanage/School/Hospital/Town/Gym/Village Powered/etc, 1 Chocolate brand that pays farmers fairly and audits child labor."

    Donaldson concluded his heartfelt post, further stating,

    "And over $50,000,000 given to people NOT including the stuff listed above. All while still in my 20s"

    MrBeast hit back at the judgmental netizens in a following X post. 

    Expressing how people who have not volunteered target him by calling him evil, he wrote in this next post,

    "It is kind of funny that people who have never volunteered in their life or given a penny to charity will see this and make a 30 minute essay about how I’m evil."

    Asserting that he is not stepping back from donating his revenue, he confirmed,

    "No matter how much people complain I’ll never stop helping people. It’s fun 🥰"

    How does MrBeast continue to offer help through his YouTube channel?

    According to several reports and surveys, social media creators earn impressive net worth by posting their content on the internet. However, Jimmy's boundless donations and impactful assistance often make many wonder about his earning sources, wealth, and his zeal to stand by the less fortunate. 

    X user @Crypt0Xia asked Donaldson,

    "How did you manage to create such massive impact through a YouTube channel?"

    MrBeast kept his answer simple and profound, saying,

    "Instead of buying a mansion and 10 super cars I used it to make content that helps people lol"

    Impressed with the meaningful response, the netizen further commented,

    "Such a inspiring journey Jimmy. Lots of love"

    MrBeast is expanding his empire. He is on a mission to join hands with like-minded individuals and raise investments worth hundreds of millions to move forward with more significant initiatives and mission-driven projects.

    According to a February 2025 report by Bloomberg, Jimmy has been interacting with potential investors for a few hundred million dollars. Sources aware of the internal communications and decisions reported that he has estimated his mammoth company at around $5 billion.

    At the time of the original report, the conversations around investing in his company were in the initial stages. Since then, there have been no confirmed updates on firms partnering with the creator. 

    Interestingly, this is not the first time MrBeast has been eager to raise funding. Previously, he has sought investment from Alpha Wave Global, an investment firm based in New York City.

    With an illustrious career and ventures on the internet, Donaldson has amassed a fortune worth $1 billion, according to Celebrity Net Worth. He draws a monthly salary of around $50 million.

    At the age of 13 MrBeast started his YouTube channel on February 19, 2012. However, it took him years to achieve his first breakthrough. He rose to fame after his video of himself counting to 100,000 blew up on the platform. This virality marked the beginning of his excellent career and philanthropy.
