Netflix has a new option for subscribers coming this November.

The streamer announced today that Netflix Basic With Ads will launch in November, priced at $6.99 per month. Basic With Ads will be $2 cheaper than the streamer's Basic plan, which is currently priced at $9.99/month in the United States. Video quality of up to 720p HD will be available for both the Basic With Ads and the Basic plans.

The ad-supported library will not include everything Netflix has to offer due to rights deals. A "limited number of movies and TV shows won’t be available due to licensing restrictions, and we’re going to be working on reducing that over time," said Netflix chief operating officer Greg Peters. About 5% to 10% of titles will be unavailable for those subscribed to Netflix Basic With Ads, and all titles will also not be available for downloading.

Ads will reportedly be either 15 or 30 seconds long and play before and during films and TV shows - coming to a total of about 4 to 5 minutes of ads per hour - though new-release movies will only play ads beforehand to "preserve the cinematic experience," according to Peters.

Netflix Basic With Ads will launch in the United States on November 3.
