South Park is going after Matt Damon and other celebrities recently seen peddling cryptocurrency. The crypto fiends are forced to drink pee in the new special South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2, which premiered today on Paramount+.
Damon recently starred in an ad for Crypto.com, saying the tagline "Fortune favors the brave," for which he's been heavily mocked on social media.
In the new South Park special, an animated Damon wears a "Fortune Favors Matt Damon" T-shirt and explains ways in which people can cut down on water by using their own urine. The special features a scene of Damon watering his lawn, showering, and cooking pasta, all with pee. He even licks a popsicle made of urine, but whenever the pee gets too close to his face, the cartoon Damon begins to gag.
Damon isn't the only star spoofed in the new special: Gwyneth Paltrow, Larry David, Naomi Osaka, Tom Brady, Reese Witherspoon, and other crypto-selling stars are also featured, drinking urine, eating a salad covered in urine, and bobbing for apples in an inflatable pool of urine.
After cryptocurrency's crash last fall, celebrities were widely criticized for promoting the unstable currency.
South Park: The Streaming Wars Parts 1 and 2 are now available to stream on Paramount+.
