Welcome to the O.C., Taylor Armstrong! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is making Bravo history by being the first housewife to jump from one installment od the franchise to another. It was announced Monday that Armstrong will join Season 17 of Orange County, which is set to begin production later this summer.
Armstrong was one of the founding cast members of RHOBH when it premiered in 2010 and starred in the first three seasons. She then filed for divorce from her husband, Russell Armstrong, accusing him of physical and verbal abuse. Russell died by suicide a month later in August of 2011.
In the years following, Armstrong has become an advocate for domestic abuse survivors and has used her Real Housewives fame to spread awareness.
In 2014, Armstrong married John Bluhe, and the couple now live together in Orange County with Armstrong's daughter, Kennedy, from her first marriage.
Bravo welcomed Armstrong to the O.C. in an Instagram post with the caption, "We’ve had ENOUGH of not having Taylor Armstrong on our screens... she is officially joining the cast of RHOC for Season 17!"
RHOC won't be the first time that Armstrong has returned to the Housewives universe since leaving RHOBH. In addition to guesting on Beverly Hills several times over Seasons 4-6, she recently appeared in Peacock's Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 does not yet have a premiere date, but previous seasons can be streamed on Peacock.
