After the death of Baptist pastor, Voddie Baucham Jr., a message that 56-year-old shared as a tribute to Charlie Kirk earlier this month has been going viral over social media.
Following the death of the late political activist in a shocking incident at the Utah Valley University (on September 10), Baucham wrote a heartfelt message for the conservative on X:
"You might Kill the messenger but you can never kill the message".
In another tweet, the pastor quoted Kierkegaard as he reflected on Charlie Kirk's death as a testimony of faith, writing:
"The tyrant dies, and his rule is over. The martyr dies, and his rule begins... Charlie Kirk was a Christian who had accepted Jesus as his Savior. We know the Lord will be greeting him, saying, ‘Well done good and faithful servant’. Accept Jesus today just like Charlie did."
Before his death, Baucham served as the president of the Founders Ministries. In addition to his pastor duties, he was also a conference speaker, educator, and author of 8 books, including Fault Lines and Family Driven Faith - which are held in high regards by the evangelicals.
Baucham was also a strong adovcate of conservative values like home schooling and patriarchal gender roles, which earned him both respect and criticism throughout his life.

Amidst Voddie Baucham Jr.'s message for Charlie Kirk going viral online, another news related to the late conservative has been making headlines.
The House GOP has discussed introducing a new bill proposing Kirk's face to be inscribed on 400,000 silver dollar coins. The US Treasury Secretary and Presidend Donald Trump would together select a final design for the coin upon consultation.
Abe Hamadeh - a representative of Arizona's eighth congressional district - spoke about the decision behind the bill with Fox News. Hailing Charlie Kirk as an "American treasure," Hamadeh said:
"Since 1892, Congress has authorized commemorative coins to celebrate and honor historic American patriots... [Charlie] tirelessly sacrificed his time, energy, and money to save this nation for future generations... His life must be commemorated, and this coin will allow us to pass a reminder of his remarkable life on to generations to come."
The bill, once approved, will direct the US Treasury to mint coins with his image on one side, followed by his full name, as well as the country's name and motto. On the other side of the coin would be this message: "well done, good and faithful servant."
