Laura Peterson isn't going off the air anytime soon.
After shaking up The Morning Show Season 2 as a former adversary to Alex (Jennifer Aniston) and an unexpected love interest to Bradley (Reese Witherspoon), Julianna Margulies will reprise her role as UBA anchor Laura Peterson in the Apple TV+ original's third season. Season 2 saw the ladies of UBA weather the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in front of a national audience, and while Laura and Alex patched up their broken friendship, Laura and Bradley explored a budding romance.
The announcement of Margulies's return comes following the news that Jon Hamm would be joining The Morning Show Season 3 as "corporate titan" Paul Marks. Margulies and Hamm will appear in a star-studded cast that includes Aniston, Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Holland Taylor, and more.
ShowrunnerCharlotte Stoudt (House of Cards Homeland) is set to take the reins from Kerry Ehrin for the show's third season.
The first two seasons of The Morning Show are currently streaming on Apple TV+.
