Jon Hamm Makes The Morning Show Staff an Offer They Can't Refuse in New Trailer

The Morning Show Season 2 ended with seemingly as many bombshells as it could fit in: Mitch (Steve Carell) died, Alex (Jennifer Aniston) was hospitalized with COVID, and Bradley (Reese Witherspoon) found herself in a pandemic hotbed while searching for her missing brother. Apple TV+ released the full trailer for Season 3 this week, and it looks like the series is maintaining that “anything can and will happen” spirit as it continues.

Best trailer for the week of August 21: The Morning Show Season 3, September 13 (Apple TV+)

The future of UBA was already up in the air after multiple scandals came to light in Season 2, and now in Season 3, a cyber attack threatens to reveal even more buried secrets. Who knows what other skeletons are in the closet of the news network and how those will change Alex and Bradley’s career? There are some new characters in the mix as well — Jon Hamm shows up as an executive offering Cory (Billy Crudup), Stella (Greta Lee), and Alex a lifeline, and Nicole Beharie walks the halls as the newest anchor threatening Alex and Bradley’s on-air careers.

Will everyone at UBA band together to burn it all down? Or is there more backstabbing around the corner? Based on the soapier approach the series took last season and the amped-up dramatics in this trailer, we’re guessing the latter.

Once again, The Bachelor and The Bachelorette rejects head to the beaches of Mexico to try to find love, and based on the trailer this season will be as campy as ever. There are plenty of surprises teased, like at least one wedding officiated by host Jesse Palmer and the return of four former Bachelorettes: Rachel Recchia, Hannah Brown, Katie Thurston, and Charity Lawson, the last of whom is likely showing up to offer advice since she ended her season happily engaged. But the most shocking twist of all? It looks like The Bachelorette Season 20 villain Brayden Bowers just might find love.

Honorable mention: Frasier, October 12 (Paramount+)

Dr. Frasier Crane is back. “No more callers. All new hang ups,” the trailer reads, surrounded by sketches of tossed salad and scrambled eggs. There’s little else revealed in this short teaser, but hearing that old theme song again offers hope that the series reboot will recapture the magic of the original.

Honorable mention: Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein, September 17 (MGM+)

Ed Gein, who was the inspiration behind the horror movies Psycho and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, is one of the most infamous serial killers in history. This series explores his crimes and his influence on horror culture, playing never-before-heard tapes from the 1950s in an attempt to get into his notoriously disturbing mind. This will be another in a long line of true-crime series from director James Buddy Day, who also helmed Sex, Lies & Murder, Slender Man Stabbing: The Untold Story, Catching a Serial Killer: Bruce McArthur, and more.

Honorable mention: Still Up, September 22 (Apple TV+)

Insomnia can really bring people together. Antonia Thomas (Lovesick, The Good Doctor) and Craig Roberts (Red Oaks) star as best friends who both have trouble falling asleep, and their bond grows even deeper in the late hours of the night. Despite their seemingly nonsexual relationship, their after-hours connection drives a wedge between them and everyone else in their lives. Based on the trailer, this series seems to have similarities with fellow Apple TV+ comedy Platonic, exploring an unusual friendship with plenty of jokes along the way.
