The View's Original Hosts Reunite for 25th Anniversary Special

Original The View co-hosts Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Joy Behar, and Meredith Vieira taped a 25th anniversary special Monday night at Manhattan’s Essex House, where they all auditioned before the show debuted in 1997.

According to Page Six, the only original panelist to miss the event was Barbara Walters.

Matenopoulos posted about the reunion on Instagram, writing, "So great having dinner and catching up with my very first TV sisters for The View 25th year reunion special shoot. There can only ever be one first… and that was us! It's like we hadn't missed a beat."

"The taping was for an ABC reunion that's in the works," revealed an insider. Additional details are being kept under wraps, with an air date to be announced in the weeks to come.
