Conservative media personality and ALP Pouches owner Tucker Carlson is contributing to support Charlie Kirk in wake of the podcaster’s recent death. Kirk, who was shot while engaging in a debate at the Utah Valley University, is survived by his wife Erika and two children aged 3 and 1.
Carlson announced that he has set up a fundraising campaign on the website, GiveSendGo. As per CBS Austin, the initial goal for the fundraiser was $1 million. The GiveSendGo page now displays a revised goal of $5 million, to which Carlson’s company ALP Pouches made an initial contribution of $1 million. The top 10 donations for the campaign are listed as being from ALP Pouches. The campaign page states,
“Our team at ALP is heartbroken by the death of Charlie Kirk — a devoted husband, father, and friend. Love for God, family, and country defined his life. Charlie leaves behind his wife, Erika, and their two young children. As they navigate this unimaginable loss, we want to rally together to provide security and stability for Charlie’s loved ones.”
As its goal the campaign seeks to support the surviving Kirk family. The note on the page states,
“Our goal is to raise as much as possible to support the Kirk family. ALP has contributed $1 million to this effort, and we invite you to join us in honoring Charlie’s legacy by giving whatever you are able. We hope you’ll join us.”
The fundraising campaign which Tucker Carlson started in tribute for Charlie Kirk, was in partnership with his associate, Neil Patel, as per CBS Austin. In a joint statement that the two partners posted on X, they reflected on how they were first introduced to the conservative commentator. The statement read,
“We met Charlie Kirk when he was 18, through our friend Foster Friess, and have known him well since. He was an amazing person. It's hard to find the right words in a moment like this or to understand exactly what's happened.”
Introducing the campaign and its objectives, the statement added,
“But in the meantime we want to do everything we can for Charlie's widow Erika and their two small children. We've set up a GiveSendGo page on their behalf and are seeding it with $1 million from Alp Pouch...Every dollar will go to Charlie's family.”

Carlson also made an appearance on September 11’s episode of the podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, in which, he shared his thoughts on the tragedy. As per The Wrap, on being asked if he ever feels threatened as a conservative media personality himself, Carlson said,
“I’ve had some things happen in the last few years that I’m never gonna talk about because my family doesn’t want me to, but I’ve had cause to think about this a lot, and I really feel like it’s up to God. I really, sincerely feel that. Now I have a very big family, I’m at the head of the family, so I have concerns that extend far beyond me, and that is a subject of prayer every single day, including this morning.”
Carlson also expressed that he feels sorrowful whenever he thinks of Kirk’s family. ALP Pouches, the company through which Carlson made the donation towards Kirk’s wife and children is a nicotine pouch company which Carlson began in 2024.
