Twitch star xQc, 29, seems to be unhappy about the platform's latest rules and policies. Felix Lengyel has criticized the platform for enforcing new guidelines quite leniently instead of taking violations, as per Dexerto.

While sharing his perspective on the chances of endangering the safety of streamers, he reacted to it not standing against specific dangerous stunts as seriously as it used to earlier. Reportedly, it is letting fellow creators avoid a ban despite them not following the rules.

Based on his latest comments, it appears Twitch is turning a lot more relaxed in punishing users for their behavior. His opinions on the changes come at a time after Twitch banned him for breaking similar rules and coming across similar issues.

A look at xQc reacting to Twitch for its recent lenient updates

While streaming on July 7, 2025, the creator clapped back at Twitch for the recent claims of the platform allowing creators to stream content that was restricted initially.

As Dexerto cited, the renowned creator recalled on Monday,

"Back in the day, I got banned for a rap music video showing booty like everybody else, alright? Banned. Done. Even though the TOS on nudity, at the time, hadn’t changed, with the emergence of a lot of new streamers and more viewers, Twitch said 'f*ck this.'"

According to xQc's revelations, the platform has not revised its TOS. However, people are not getting banned anymore for the same reason the former professional Overwatch player had to face challenges.

During his Monday stream, Lengyel further set the record straight by pointing out that he did not target any individual while criticizing Twitch, Sportskeeda confirmed. He explained:

"Okay, I'll say it in a way that it cannot be clip weirdly. This is not shade at anybody except for Twitch... The way they used to be enforced is that they're dangerous and can endanger others. Then, come in now, comes out to like, fire and explosions, or fireworks or whatever. It's just deplorable."

Later, he also noted Twitch's enforcement of content related to s**ual, blood, and gore visuals seems not to have been updated yet. He later stated that actions that once led to his ban no longer result in penalties for creators today.

    xQc also later remarked,

"TOS, they kind of ghost changed. It’s just odd, it’s odd, whatever. I’m not going to cry about it, but I’m just saying."

The Canadian online streamer further continued:

"I think its fine for me to say I don’t really give a shit about TOS and being on eggshells. I don’t give a f*ck. There’s no point doing that anymore because that would be me trying to be nice to Twitch but nobody plays the game like how I play it because they don’t have to. So, there’s no point. It’s just lame."

While xQc ensured highlighting the disparity of treating creators in the past and today, he also requested the platforms revise their guidelines, especially regarding endangerment.

He also chimed in during the online streaming session, as Sportskeeda cited,

"Why is it so hard to update the TOS? Guys, listen, this is what we used to do. This is what we do now. It is not that f**king hard... It creates an illusion, right, that Twitch loves. Twitch loves this grey area, right, where it's a land where it's 'never do this,' but they never enforce it. So, someone does something that they don't like, right? Not some big streamer, medium streamer that they don't like or whatever, some controversial guy. They ban him, and if people go, what the f*ck, they go, well, guys TOS says don't do this!"

Expressing his frustration, the retired Overwatch pro added,

"It's like, dude, really? You don't even enforce this s*it... That's the sweet spot of the operating, and it's exhausting. It's f**king exhausting."

This was not the first time a creator took a stand against Twitch. Previously, it made headlines for several reasons.

Once multiple streamers called for stricter action against streaming gambling content, it responded by implementing restrictions. Nonetheless, a growing demand for stricter and more comprehensive regulations continues to mount.

And now, creators like xQc are using their influence to raise their voice on Twitch's regulations and a sense of relaxing on banning creators for unexpected activities.

Some time back, the streamer also grabbed media attention after his conversation with Adin Ross. On July 7, 2025, the streamer duo conversed in an online broadcast and chatted about popular Twitch streamer HasanAbi's community for allegedly sharing some content online and a lack of moderation.

During the collaborative broadcast, Adan said,

"X, his chat, are terrorists. Like, his chat are... I'm not joking. Watch his stream. They like... they're all terrorists. I'm not even joking."

    He further asked:

"Dude, it's insane. I'm like, how is this allowed?"

On the other hand, xQc reacted to HasanAbi's community, remarking,

"I wouldn't say all, but true... Bro, it's kinda crazy you say that, because if you think about the definition of what that is? True. Like, they do propagate actual, some of them though, like actual terroristic ideologies."
