Donald Trump allegedly wrote a letter to Epstein on his 50th birthday, as per the Wall Street Journal. According to a report by the publication, the letter that Trump allegedly sent to Epstein included a self-drawn outline of a naked woman. The alleged letter ended with a personal note, which read:

“Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

The Wall Street Journal also mentioned that the particular letter was a part of a hardbound collection compiled by Epstein’s friend, Ghislaine Maxwell. The compilation of letters from Epstein’s friends was meant as a memorabilia marking the financier’s birthday in 2003, as per CNN.

The Wall Street Journal noted that pages from the compiled album were scrutinized by the Justice Department when Epstein and Maxwell were under investigation.

As per The Wall Street Journal, the alleged letter by Trump to Epstein includes an imaginary conversation between the two in which they discuss that they have “certain things in common.” The publication noted that Trump had allegedly signed the letter.

Donald Trump took to Truth Social to call out the letter as a fake and further shared his intention to take legal recourse. According to a report by CNN, Trump, on his Truth Social account, wrote,

“I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn’t print this Fake Story. But he did, and now I’m going to sue his a** off, and that of his third rate newspaper.”

In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Trump asserted that he would filing for legal action against the publication. He also said,

“This is not me. This is a fake thing. It’s a fake Wall Street Journal story…I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”

    Who was Jeffrey Epstein?

Jeffrey Epstein, who was a convicted s*x offender, was accused of running a s*x trafficking ring of underage girls. He was arrested first in 2006. He was arrested again and died while waiting for trial in prison in 2019, as per Associated Press.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s British associate and ex-girlfriend, was tried for her involvement in the s*x trafficking ring and was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022, according to Associated Press.

It was also alleged that Epstein’s illegal activities included the participation and knowledge of powerful associates, as per the New York Times. However, there had not been any official release of documents that confirm such an allegation.

In fact, there has been recent pressure on the White House and the Department of Justice to release documents and reports surrounding the Epstein case. The demand pertains to the public’s curiosity about the details of Epstein’s operations and is intended to further shed light on the involvement of powerful people in criminal activities.

During his campaign, President Trump had also assured his voters that he would work to declassify files related to the case of Epstein once elected into office, noted The Guardian. However, early in July, a memo was released from the Justice Department, which claimed that after a ‘review’ of files related to Epstein’s case, “no incriminating ‘client list’” was found, noted the publication.
