“Nah I'm done with red bull rampage. The judges are going to get someone killed. Pushing riders to pull tricks where they normally wouldn't with their inconsistent scoring. Get well soon Adolf Silva and all other riders who picked up injuries through the week”
Another supporter echoed the sentiment, and while critiquing the organizers, said,
“1- praying for Adolf Silva first and foremost. What an absolutely brutal, sobering and jarring hit. 2- At some point is @redbull going to step in and turn this back into a style/flow big mountain free ride event or are we just going to keep letting this go until someone dies?”
An internet user underlined the brutal nature of Silva’s accident, and wrote,
“Tragic injury, you should watch Adolf Silva Redbull Rampage crash yesterday, that was violent and gruesome.”
A native of Barcelona in Spain, Adolf Silva first began riding his bike on dirt paths at the age of seven, as per his biography on Monster Energy’s website.
