Laura Loomer has sparked a new controversy with a recent X post that she will be boycotting certain brands due to their commercials. The conservative influencer asked for the casting of “white people” in TV advertisements.
Loomer quoted a post from another X user (@pallnandi) that demanded,
“Can we normalize not having a gay scene in every movie and TV show?”
Can we normalize putting White people back in TV commercials?
— Laura Loomer (@LauraLoomer) July 4, 2025
If you don’t have white people in your commercial, I am not buying your product.
I am tired of DEI commercials. https://t.co/ZFqGUuOKbD
Using the same template, Laura Loomer added in her X post,
“Can we normalize putting White people back in TV commercials? If you don’t have white people in your commercial, I am not buying your product. I am tired of DEI commercials.”
For those unaware, Laura Loomer is a popular right-wing influencer and political activist. She is also a well-known MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporter and endorsed Trump for the 2024 presidential race against Joe Biden (and later Kamala Harris). Loomer also accompanied the then-GOP candidate at different rallies, but didn’t hold an official position in his campaign staff.
Laura Loomer has also garnered social media attention for various conspiracy theories. She was permanently banned from Twitter (now X) in 2018 for violating the platform's guidelines. After Elon Musk took over Twitter and rebranded it as X, she became one of the many people to get their accounts reinstated on the microblogging website.
I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I have been like “wow are there any white people in commercials anymore?”

As mentioned, the political activist stirred controversy after one of her recent tweets. She called for “putting White people back in TV commercials” and claimed that she is “tired of DEI” advertisements. Laura Loomer continued her social media rant and said in another tweet,
“I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I have been like “wow are there any white people in commercials anymore?””
Loomer further displayed her opposition to the casting of same-gender couples and demanded the return of “straight white people” in the commercials:
“The only time they ever show a white person in commercials anymore is if they are two gay dudes with an adopted son or two butch lesbos. We need to bring straight white people back to commercials.”
Her comments received polarizing responses from X users, with some people supporting her views and others calling her out.

But I will be releasing more names of individuals who should not be in the Trump administration due to their questionable loyalty & past attacks on President Trump.
I’ll be releasing those names later today and tomorrow.
Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager, and Isaac Arnsdorf’s “2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America” is set to launch on July 8, 2025. According to the Daily Mail, the upcoming book makes a massive claim regarding the job of White House press secretary.
Based on an exclusive report from the outlet, the book from the trio of journalists asserts that Karoline Leavitt was not Donald Trump’s initial pick. Instead, the then-president-elect wanted Laura Loomer on the job. The co-authors wrote:
“Many of Trump's advisers viewed Loomer as too-conspiracy-minded and pugilistic, but he liked her. ‘Is she too fringe to be press secretary?’ he asked aides once.”
According to the Daily Mail, the 47th US President was talked out of appointing Loomer for the position of White House press secretary. However, Laura Loomer remained a Trump loyalist and was reportedly influential in the firing of National Security Council staffers in April, following the Signal chat leak.
The US President fired at least six NSC staff members after his Oval Office meeting with Laura Loomer. Later, Trump revealed that the right-wing influencer made some recommendations but was not involved in the firings. He said (via ABC News):
“So Laura Loomer is a very good patriot. She is a very strong person, and I saw her yesterday for a little while. She makes recommendations of things and people, and sometimes I listen to those recommendations, like I do with everybody. I listen to everybody, and then I make a decision.”
After the initial firings, Laura Loomer shared an X post on April 4, 2025, asserting that she will be releasing “more names of individuals who should not be in the Trump administration,” due to their disloyalty and past attacks aimed at the president.
