A mess-up in making deodorants has led to a huge recall of more than 67,000 boxes all over the U.S. The maker of Power Stick, a company called A.P. Deauville, LLC, said they need back three different kinds of their sweat-stop goods.
They announced this on July 10, 2025. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration declared this news. They said it was because something was wrong with the deodorants, a secret flaw no one knew before.
The company is based in Pennsylvania, and they haven't yet told the public why this happened or talked to news folks about what bad stuff could occur from using the recalled batches.
The agency's main site says the rules are there to make sure every item has what it says it does and has the strength it claims. They aim to make sure buyers get exactly what the label says, the right parts and the right amount, all while keeping it safe. This set of rules acts as a guard, ensuring that items meet certain quality levels before they get to users.
In their words:
"The regulations make sure that a product is safe for use, and that it has the ingredients and strength it claims to have."
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has flagged issues related to the making of some Power Stick roll-on deodorants, leading to a recall of a few items. The recall touches three types: Power Stick for Her Roll-On Deodorant in Powder Fresh, Power Stick Invisible Protection in Spring Fresh, and the Original Nourishing Invisible version. It was found that these products didn't meet the required rules during manufacturing. This raised safety worries and led to their recall.
All these were sold in small 1.8-ounce packs. Regulatory inspection revealed lapses in adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), the federal guidance that enables an organization to ensure the integrity, quality, and safety of its consumer products, and led to the decision to recall.
A big recall is out for many of the Power Stick roll-on deodorants due to fear over their safety. The items in the recall are from several lot numbers and come from different sorts of the product: Power Stick for Her, Power Stick Invisible Protection, and Power Stick Original Nourishing Invisible Protection. Certain lots, like 032026B011, 071226D371, and 111626G231, were sold in stores such as Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Amazon.
Customers are requested to refrain from using any of the recalled products and return them to where they were bought.
