    YouTuber Ryan Trahan has been making the headlines for his heartfelt philanthropic endeavors.

    The 26-year-old social media influencer embarked on a long journey to travel to 50 states in the U.S. and raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His wife, Haley Pham also joined him on this noble and one-of-a-kind journey across the country.

    Sharing glimpses of their stay in Indiana, Ryan confirmed that he and his wife have amassed over $5 million during their challenge of covering 50 states in 50 days, according to a Dexerto report.

    Sharing the incredible news on social media, he stated in the caption,

    "OVER $5M RAISED FOR @stjude!!!! we have 2 weeks remaining in this adventure, but the SPLIT has been activated and it is going to be a dramatic day"

    Trahan also gave a shout-out to a Phoenix, Arizona-based outdoor and sporting goods company named Lectric eBikes for donating "half a million" dollars.

    Ryan announced his meaningful initiative to explore 50 states in the U.S. in 50 days on June 10.     Expressing gratitude for the support, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital commented under the post,

    "Such an incredible journey, Ryan! Thanks so much for the love and support for the kids of St. Jude. Safe travels!"

    Calling the adventure of exploring the country "a bucket list dream for so long," he expressed his excitement to be fundraising for this excellent project. He further penned in his caption,

    "you can even donate $0.01 just by following me here! I’ll be posting daily on YouTube and IG for all 50 days!"

    According to the official website of the "50 states. 50 days. 1 guy." challenge, the YouTuber has already collected donations worth $5,511,975 at the time of publishing.

    Along with Instagram, he continues to keep his followers updated with the journey on YouTube as well. As Dexerto confirmed, the lovebirds have been spending their nights at unique Airbnb properties across the country.

    After Texas, Ryan and Haley travelled to New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and Nebraska in the first week. The pair next headed to Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama in the third week.

    From day 15 to day 21, Trahan and Pham explored Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia. The fourth week was followed by spending each day in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

    Their travel itinerary later traversed through Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan and completed the target of over $5 million in Indiana.

    Dexerto confirmed that Doctor Mike, Mark Rober, and MrBeast are among some content creators who have contributed to Ryan's thoughtful effort.
