America's Got Talent contestant Jimmie Herrod took a huge risk when he chose to sing "Tomorrow," Simon Cowell's least favorite song of all time, for his audition, but it paid off in a major way.
Despite appearing visibly shaken when he was informed of Cowell's distaste for the Annie number — "That is my worst song," said the already-prickly judge — Herrod went on to slay the performance and earn a Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara. But perhaps more importantly, the AGT contestant rendered Cowell speechless, a truly remarkable feat. "Wow, wow, wow," said Cowell. "It's not my worst song anymore. Unbelievable. Unbelievable."
Herrod's Golden Buzzer earns him a ticket straight to America's Got Talent's live shows, which will air later this summer. New episodes of AGT air every Tuesday at 8:00 PM ET on NBC.
