Back in 1990, Will Smith was just The Fresh Prince, a pop-rap star alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff, unaware of the cultural phenomenon his new sitcom would become and the enduring appeal it would have decades later.
In anticipation of Wednesday's new Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion special, MTV has unearthed some raw footage of supermodel Cindy Crawford visiting the set during the show's first season to chat with Smith.
It's... awkward, as Smith is still pretty new to the acting game (he's just learned the term "fourth wall") and Crawford seems amazed that the set isn't an actual house. But Smith still oozes charisma and finds ways to have fun with it.
The visit eventually aired (in edited form) as a segment on Crawford's MTV series House of Style.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ran from 1990 to 1996 on NBC; the reunion special premieres November 19 on HBO Max.
