Donald Faison should probably stick to acting. Last night, the Scrubs star and his on- (and off-) screen best friend Zach Braff teamed up on Celebrity Family Feud, but Faison's answers left a whole lot of something to be desired. Faison's Fast Money "train wreck" — the show's words, not mine — culminated in him saying that an alligator, which stands about three inches above the ground, would help its fellow zoo animals scale a fence better than an elephant.
"Your friend said the giraffe, which makes perfect sense. And then you said-" teased a confounded Steve Harvey. "The alligator!" said Faison, standing by his choice.
"Which has helped nobody ever do nothing!" replied the Celebrity Family Feud host. "You put your foot on an alligator, it's missing!"
As if you needed more proof that the world is upside-down, Faison and Braff ended up winning Celebrity Family Feud despite the former's disastrous guesses. Against all odds, their team ultimately raised $25,000 for Stop AAPI Hate, a nonprofit that tracks and responds to incidents of racism against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. At least those awful guesses led to something positive.
Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.
